Whitehouse & Co. is headed by Nigel Whitehouse and provides a legal and business affairs service to independent producers of television programmes and feature films.

In 1987 Nigel escaped the delights of criminal and matrimonial law in Manchester when he joined BBC Enterprises (now Worldwide) where he was involved in negotiating and drafting various exploitation agreements for BBC programming.

After two years Nigel joined Primetime PLC as it’s Director of Legal and Business Affairs where he continued his work on programme exploitation - through Primetime’s subsidiary RPTA Limited (then the UK’s largest independent distributor) - and provided legal and business affairs advice and drafting in connection with Primetime’s own productions, co-productions and pre-sales.

Nigel set up Whitehouse & Co. in 1994.
